1.1 Do I currently have to play for a college or club team to register?
No. As long as you have passion! Vamos!
1.2 If I graduated, can I participate in the program?
Yes. Recent graduates are welcome. Olé!
1.3 Can I travel between ECELA's 5 campuses in the Spanish and Soccer program?
At this point, Spanish and Soccer is unique to the ECELA Buenos Aires campus. At the end of the program, if you would like to continue taking Spanish classes in Buenos Aires or at our other campuses, you're welcome to.
1.4 How can I find out more about Argentine soccer?
Futbolhistoria.com (in English and Spanish) and Canchallena.com (in Spanish) are good places to start. We'll also be including a page on our site soon.
Courses
2.1 Can I receive college credit?
Yes. Most universities will grant credit for courses taken at our school. You should first visit your school's foreign language department to find out the specific requirements. The normal process is for your school to review our curriculum and a letter of verification that the course is taught in the local language. See our Academic Credit page for more detailed information.
2.2 Should I bring any materials to class?
Yes. Bring a notebook and pen. We also highly recommend a good Spanish to English dictionary. Please contact us for a larger list of items and recommendations.
2.3 What level of classes should I take?
Please use the tables below to determine your level when registering. Each student also takes a short placement exam on his or her first day.
